Your Premium benefits

For every feature you can read which problem it solves, which data we use, how often it updates, what its limitations are and what you can practically do with it. No promises, just the facts.

01

Live portfolio insight

The problem it solves
Your investments sit across different apps and accounts, so you never see one total.
Data used
The holdings you enter yourself (shares, ETFs, bonds, crypto, property) combined with prices from Yahoo Finance.
How often it updates
Prices are fetched when you open or refresh a page. Exchange prices are usually delayed by roughly 15 minutes.
Limitations
No automatic bank or broker link: you enter and update holdings yourself. Property and unlisted assets have no market price and use the value you enter.
What you can do with it
See your total wealth, result per holding and per category in one overview, in the currency you choose.

02

Personal attention points

The problem it solves
Concentration and mismatched risk usually only become visible after a drop.
Data used
Your holdings and their weights, your investor profile from the questionnaire (horizon, buffer, drawdown tolerance) and the spread across categories, sectors and regions.
How often it updates
Recalculated on every page load and after each change to your holdings or profile.
Limitations
Signals are based on the data you entered and are a general observation, not personal investment advice.
What you can do with it
Spot which positions weigh too heavily and where your spread across sectors, regions and companies is thin.

03

Investment check

The problem it solves
Without one overview it is unclear whether your portfolio as a whole is in order.
Data used
Four parts you can view separately: spread across categories, concentration in single positions, fit with your investor profile and progress towards your goal.
How often it updates
Recalculated every time you open the dashboard and after each change to your holdings, goal or profile.
Limitations
The score is a summary of your own data with fixed weights, not a judgement of the quality of individual investments.
What you can do with it
See in one number and one sentence where you stand, and open the underlying parts to see what lowers the score.

04

Goal calculations

The problem it solves
"Am I saving enough?" is hard to answer without a calculation.
Data used
Your target amount and target date, your current portfolio value, your monthly contribution and a return assumption per risk profile.
How often it updates
Immediately, every time you change an input.
Limitations
A calculation with fixed assumptions, not a prediction. Actual returns fluctuate; taxes and costs are not included.
What you can do with it
Compare three routes to your goal: contribute more, take more time, or adjust the goal — and see what each one requires.

05

Wealth projections

The problem it solves
It is hard to picture what today's contribution is worth in fifteen years.
Data used
Your current value, your contribution schedule and scenarios for a weak, average and strong market.
How often it updates
Recalculated when you change an assumption or your holdings.
Limitations
Scenarios show a range, never one certain outcome. Every projection uses assumptions you can see and change yourself.
What you can do with it
See when your wealth could reach the amount you need, and what a higher contribution changes.

06

Market sentiment

The problem it solves
Headlines about fear and euphoria say nothing measurable about the market situation.
Data used
Twelve market indicators combined into one score, including price momentum, volatility, the US 10-year yield and the CNN Fear & Greed Index.
How often it updates
Fetched when you open the page; the underlying sources publish daily on trading days.
Limitations
A snapshot of the current market mood, not a signal to buy or sell and no predictor of returns. If a source is unavailable, that indicator is left out and this is shown.
What you can do with it
Put your own reaction in context and see which indicators drive the score before you change anything.

07

Market trends linked to your portfolio

The problem it solves
Trend stories say nothing about your own situation.
Data used
Themes with a named source and measurement period, matched against the holdings in your portfolio.
How often it updates
Theme figures are updated per publication of the underlying source; your exposure is recalculated on every visit.
Limitations
Sector estimates are historical or from third-party research and say nothing about future returns. A warning is shown when the data is older.
What you can do with it
See how much of your portfolio is already exposed to a theme, and test a hypothetical change without touching your real portfolio.

08

Share analysis

The problem it solves
Judging whether a price is reasonable takes numbers most people do not look up.
Data used
Price and company data from Yahoo Finance, plus valuation criteria you can set yourself (such as the margin below estimated fair value).
How often it updates
Fetched at the moment you run a check; company figures follow the reporting calendar of the company itself.
Limitations
Estimated fair value depends on the assumptions you choose. Wealthfold never says "buy" or "sell"; it shows where a price sits relative to your own criteria.
What you can do with it
Check unlimited shares against consistent criteria instead of a gut feeling per company.

09

Notifications and price alerts

The problem it solves
Watching prices all day costs time and encourages hasty decisions.
Data used
The alerts you set yourself (symbol, above or below a price) checked against prices from Yahoo Finance, plus a periodic email summary of your portfolio.
How often it updates
Alerts are checked on a fixed schedule; the summary email follows the frequency you choose (off, weekly or monthly).
Limitations
Not real time and not suitable for day trading. The free plan allows a limited number of alerts; Premium removes that limit.
What you can do with it
Get a message when a price you care about is reached, instead of checking the app every day.

10

Personal attention points in your portfolio

The problem it solves
Concentration and drift build up slowly and are hard to notice in a list of holdings.
Data used
Only the holdings you entered yourself, valued in your display currency.
How often it updates
Recalculated every time your holdings or prices change.
Limitations
General information based on your own input, not personal investment advice.
What you can do with it
See where concentration, spreading or the fit with your goal may deserve extra attention, based on the data you entered yourself.

11

Watchlist for shares and ETFs

The problem it solves
You want to follow an idea before you buy it, without polluting your real portfolio.
Data used
The names and tickers you add yourself; nothing is imported automatically.
How often it updates
Your watchlist updates immediately when you add or remove an instrument.
Limitations
A watchlist entry is never counted as a holding and never changes your portfolio value.
What you can do with it
Follow shares and ETFs you find interesting without adding them to your real portfolio.

12

Transparent calculations and sources

The problem it solves
A number you cannot verify is a number you cannot rely on.
Data used
Every calculation shows its formula and inputs; market data comes from Yahoo Finance and the sentiment reading from the CNN Fear & Greed Index.
How often it updates
Sources and dates are shown with the figure itself, so you always see how recent it is.
Limitations
Wealthfold depends on external sources. When a source is unavailable or outdated, that is stated instead of hidden.
What you can do with it
Open the explanation next to any figure to see exactly how it was calculated and where the data came from.
